# TechLeads API

> TechLeads provides website technology detection and B2B lead search over 450M+ domains.

## Authentication

Most endpoints require the `x-admin-api-key` header. Public endpoints (no key): `/`, `/health`, `/llms.txt`, `/contact`, `/usage/track`, `/feature-request`, `/verify-payment`, `/status/public`, `/embed/v1`.

Enterprise API (separate listener): credit-based access with the same key header.

## Technology detection

- GET `/web/lookup?url={url}` — Detect technologies on a live website. Optional `scan_type=deep`.
- POST `/web/lookup/batch` — Batch lookup (JSON body `{ "urls": [...] }`, max 1000).
- GET `/technology/{name}` — Technology metadata stub.
- GET `/technology/{slug}/insights` — Usage and co-occurrence stats for a technology.

### Technology spend (conservative estimate)

When enabled, `/web/lookup` and lead-list responses include `technology_spend`:

Per-technology dollar amounts are never exposed. Estimates sum entry-tier monthly SaaS pricing for detected paid tools; open-source and one-time products are excluded.

## Lead search

- GET `/search/lead-list/v2` — Filter by technologies, keywords, TLDs, country, exclusions. Returns company contact fields and optional `technology_spend` per row.
- POST `/export/lead-list` — Async CSV export (gzip) with optional spend columns.

Query parameters (v2): `technologies`, `keyword`, `keyword_mode`, `tlds`, `exclusions`, `limit`, `offset`, `sales_ready`, `country`, `country_mode`, `include_count`.

## Company intelligence

- POST `/company/analyze` — AI company profile from domain.
- POST `/company/people` — Key personnel discovery (Perplexity).
- POST `/contact/extract` — Email/phone extraction from websites.

## Datasets & payments

- POST `/verify-payment` — PayPal order verification.
- POST `/datasets/verify-purchase` — Dataset purchase verification.
- GET `/datasets/download/{order_id}` — Secure dataset download.

## Analytics & discovery

- POST `/usage/track` — Chrome extension usage (public).
- GET `/live-discovery/summary` — CertStream pipeline stats (admin).
- GET `/discovery/daily-tech` — Daily new-technology discovery feed (admin key required).
- GET `/discovery/daily-tech-sitemap` — Qualifying tech/day pairs for sitemap (admin key required).
- GET `/alerts/preview` — Alert sample domains (admin key required).

## Rate limits

Default 10 requests/minute per IP; analytics endpoints 200/minute. Enterprise tier uses credit balances per endpoint.
